How we keep BizInsuranceCost accurate and trustworthy.

BizInsuranceCost is built to be accurate, current and genuinely useful. This page explains how our tools and content are produced, and the sources we rely on.

How our tools are built

Every calculator uses published, industry-standard formulas and current figures. We test the math, document our assumptions on each tool, and update the numbers when rates or rules change. We do not collect or store the values you enter — calculations run entirely in your browser.

Our sources

Our figures and explanations are based on industry rate filings and carrier underwriting guidance. Where rules vary by state or change yearly, we say so and link to the authoritative source so you can confirm the latest details.

Editorial independence & corrections

Our goal is to help you make an informed decision, not to push a product. Some links are affiliate links that may earn us a commission at no cost to you; they never change our recommendations or the math. Spot an error? Tell us and we will fix it promptly.

Important: These tools are for educational and budgeting purposes only and are not insurance quotes or advice. Real premiums depend on your carrier, location, claims history and underwriting. We may earn commissions through affiliate links on this site.
